☞Criteria for regular attendance allowance. 좋은뉴스
The payment standard for punctuality allowance is related to the length of service.
The length of service refers to the number of years of service, not the level of salary. In other words, it is important how long you have been employed and worked, not the level of salary.
Occasionally, there are people who start with a high salary by being recognized for similar careers. Salary level and length of service must be calculated separately.
For example, if you started your civil service life with the 5th salary due to similar experience, but the actual service years are less than 1 year, you will not be able to receive it in that year.
And regular attendance allowance is an allowance that all civil servants, such as general workers, researchers, instructors, teachers, police, and firefighters, can receive.
※However, attendance allowance is paid to conscripted police officers, police academy students, police officer candidates, firefighting officers candidates, cadets, officer candidates, student military education corps cadets and noncommissioned officers candidates who are in military training, sergeants appointed without application, and soldiers who are sick. don’t do it
☞ When to receive regular attendance allowance
Regular attendance allowance is received on the pay day in January and July of each year.
☞Requirements for regular attendance allowance
▶Standing allowance paid in January
The regular attendance allowance paid in January is for those who hold the status of a public servant as of January 1st and have been paid a salary for more than one month during the period from July 1st to December 31st of the previous year, which is the period subject to payment. It is paid to public officials (including public officials who have been paid part of their salaries).
▶Standing allowance paid in July

☞Payment of regular attendance allowance
The amount of the regular attendance allowance is determined according to the rate set forth in the regulations on civil servant allowances, etc.
Less than 1 year is not paid, and from 1 year or more, it is supposed to increase by 5% every year.
And if it is more than 10 years, it will rise to 50% of your main salary.
Please refer to the table below for rates by length of service.
Since the base dates are January 1st and July 1st of each year, the calculation is based on the position and salary level at the time of the base date. For example, if you are promoted from 7th grade to 6th grade on July 10th, your regular attendance allowance for July will be paid based on your 7th grade level salary as of July 1st. If you are promoted or demoted on January 1st, you will be paid based on the monthly salary in the salary table for the rank and grade you were promoted or demoted to.
Regular attendance allowance is paid according to the number of years worked, and the salary level and length of service may differ. This is because the salary level is added together through the redetermination of the salary level for similar careers prior to appointment as a civil servant.
For example, if Mr. A, who was appointed on May 1, 2017, has 3 years of similar experience in society, when he is appointed to the 9th grade as a local public official, his salary level will be level 3. do not receive

In accordance with Paragraph 3 of Article 7 of the ‘Regulations on Public Officials Allowances, etc.’, when a certain number of years of service is reached, an additional fee for regular attendance pay is differentially paid according to the number of years of service on the monthly remuneration payment date as follows.
☞Payment method
payment principle
In the case of new appointment, dismissal, or leave of absence, payment is calculated according to the actual service period as a public official during the period to be paid.
Regular attendance allowance is not paid to public officials who have received disciplinary measures (reprimand, pay cut, suspension, demotion) during the payment period.
However, if the period of disciplinary action extends over the period subject to payment, attendance allowance shall not be paid only for the period subject to payment to which the day of the disciplinary measure was received, and the subsequent period subject to payment shall not be separately reduced.
For example, a public official who received a reprimand on May 1, 2018 cannot receive a regular attendance allowance in July 2019.
If a public official received a 3-month pay cut on May 1, 2018, the regular attendance allowance for July 2019 will not be paid, but the full attendance allowance for January 2020 will be paid.
Of course, the 3-month salary reduction is not included when calculating the number of years of service when the regular attendance allowance is paid in January 2020.
Amount of regular attendance allowance × (Actual length of service [months] ÷ 6 months)
Here, the actual working period is 15 days or more, 1 month, and less than 15 days are not counted.
The number of years of service for regular attendance allowance is calculated as of the first day of each month for educational public officials according to Table 22 Career Conversion Rate of Educational Public Officials, etc. It is calculated by summing up the length of service as a public servant.
