Real-time traffic fine inquiry method

Drivers, including me, must be trying to obey traffic laws. Even so, sometimes situations like traffic violations or speed violations happen. It’s nasty all day. It’s embarrassing until the penalty bill comes out. Let’s find out how to check traffic fines in real time to solve this awkwardness.

National Police Agency Traffic Civil Service 24 (IPINE)

You don’t have to wait anxiously for a bill when you’re wondering whether you’ve violated traffic laws or not. After signing up as a member at the National Police Agency Traffic Civil Service 24 (hereinafter referred to as IFINE), you can check the details of recent unmanned enforcement, fines, and fines in real time.

In the case of an individual, you can log in and search for traffic fines and fines -> unpaid history -> search directly from the recent unmanned enforcement menu. In the case of a corporate vehicle, enter the corporate number to search. Please note that inquiries are reflected 3 to 4 days after the violation. 좋은뉴스

※ How to search corporate vehicles

Efine login is done through a public certificate. Since the public certificate is basically registered as a business number, corporate vehicles cannot be directly inquired. You need to apply for a corporate number.

You need to apply for a corporate number from the Traffic fines and negligence payment -> application for complaints menu. After calling the local police station, submitting the documents and processing the complaint, you can search for vehicles registered with the corporate number.

It is a bit of a hassle, so if you have chosen a corporate vehicle, we recommend that you apply for a corporate number in advance.

You can check the details by going to the recent unmanned enforcement details page, and you can save the details in Excel. If you go to the Payment Guidance and Payment Processing menu, you will be directed to the Unpaid Fines page, where you will receive information on payment methods and payment deadline extensions.

It is said that individuals can convert fines for unmanned enforcement details into fines. There are caveats. See below.

Precautions when changing fines

You can request a change in fines from the Fines Request page that appears when you click Fines -> Fines menu on the Recent Unmanned Enforcement Details page. One thing to note is the standard difference between fines and fines.

In the case of fines, they are imposed on the owner of the vehicle, and fines are imposed on the actual driver and may have demerit points.

If the penalty is not paid, the photo notice period -> 1st penalty -> 2nd penalty -> seizure (vehicle, deposit, real estate, salary) will proceed in the order. In the case of secondary fines, additional fines of 3% and intermediate fines of 1.2% are added, up to a maximum of 75%.

If the penalty is not paid, the penalty is processed in the order of penalty -> immediate trial -> administrative disposition (license suspension). It’s fines and fines, and it seems good not to think about avoiding payment.

※ If the demerit points are 40 points or more, the license is suspended, and if the accumulated points are 121 points or more in 1 year, 201 points or more in 2 years, or 271 points or more in 3 years, the license is revoked.

Mobile ‘Traffic Complaint 24’

On June 15th, eFine started pilot operation of the mobile ‘Traffic Complaint 24’. The pilot operation plan is being held until September. If you want to use it, search for ‘Traffic Complaint 24’ on the Play Store, install it, and try it.

Currently, only Android is available, and in the case of iPhone, due to additional work, it is said that it will be released on the App Store in October.

It is said that the traffic fine and penalty payment function will be applied by the end of October in connection with the Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute. Below are the items that will be serviced during the trial operation period.

Inquiry of unpaid fines, unpaid fines, and previously paid fines
Penalties -> fine conversion function

In some cases, there are times when it is beneficial to pay as a fine, and there are times when it is beneficial to pay as a fine. If you are worried, go to the nearest police station and inquire, and they will tell you how to pay in a more advantageous way.
